our team offers you a rally on the roads of Haute-Savoie.

THE ROUTE

Rallye 1000 Bornes was born in 1989 in Le Grand Bornand. Then follow 13 editions to cross the alpine roads, Marc and Claude driving this beautiful adventure. 30 years later, Hugo and Guillaume, who have taken over, have expanded the Rallye 1000 Bornes playground to European roads.
The rally “1000 Bornes Classic”, offers a return to the original routes to make you discover (or rediscover) the most beautiful places of the Haute-Savoie valleys  : Aravis Mountains  (inevitably!), Chamonix valleys, Geneva and Annecy Lakes, and Bauges Mountains.
A rally between lakes and mountains with among others the ascent of the Colombière Pass, the Aravis Pass, the Forclaz Pass or the Pas de Morgins, …. And to close each of our stages, we will have the pleasure of being welcomed in some prestigious hotels: L’Arboisie in Megève ****, L’Imperial Palace in Annecy **** and Au coeur du Village *****, Relais and Châteaux in La Clusaz.

THE STAGES

Thursday 4th July, 2019

DEPARTURE – STAGE 1

Le Grand-Bornand – Megève

Meeting point in Le Grand-Bornand, late morning. Welcome on the village place and lunch. In the afternoon, let’s go for the Colombière pass before reaching the Grand Massif and the Joux Plane Pass. We will join Megève, a typical village of Haute-Savoie nestled in the heart of the Mont Blanc mountains, in an exceptional setting, for one night at the Hotel l’Arboisie ****.

Friday 5th July, 2019

STAGE 2

Megève – Annecy

Departure from Megève towards the Chamonix valley. Small hook by Switzerland to join the Forclaz pass and Martigny before going back to France by the Pas de Morgins pass to arrive at the edges of Lake Geneva for lunch. In the afternoon, we will go through the Salève mountains before reaching the Lake Annecy for a night at the Imperial Palace ****.

Saturday 6th July, 2019

STAGE 3

Annecy – La Clusaz

In the morning, we will drive along the edges of Lake Annecy to go to the Natural Park of the Bauges mountains where we will have lunch. In the afternoon, back to the Aravis by La Croix Fry pass before arriving in La Clusaz for one night “Au Coeur du Village” *****, located in the very center of the village .

Sunday 7th July, 2019

STAGE 4

La Clusaz – Talloires

Departure from La Clusaz to drive the Aravis pass and reach the Val d’Arly. Exceptional panorama from La Forclaz pass over Lake Annecy and lunch by the lake to finish the rally.
